Saint Valentine’s Day with Eight Days a Week song by The Beatles!

Celebrating this day with my lovely pupils singing this popular song by The Beatles

♡ Eight days a week ♡

And why EIGHT DAYS A WEEK and not SEVEN?? How many days are there in a week? What a mystery!! Remember this is a LOVE SONG. And eight better than seven. SEVEN is not enough time for LOVING… according to the singer 😉 He needs an extra day for loving her!!! 🙂

Do you know who the singer of this song is?

«Eight Days a Week» is a song by the English rock band the Beatles. It was written by Paul McCartney (most of the song) and John Lennon (who added the middle part of the song and some other lines). The original idea was Paul McCartney.

It was written in the year 1964 for THE BEATLES’s film: HELP.

HERE THE ONLY ORIGINAL VERSION ON YOUTUBE. UNFORTUNATELY IT IS ONLY AUDIO FOR YOU TO LISTEN. BUT IT’S WONDERFUL, DON’T YOU THINK?
Obviously it is NOT THE BEATLES VERSION, but it is the only lyrics version I can find on Youtube!
